Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair small engines including lawnmowers, chainsaws, blowers, and other landscaping and construction equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts and checking wear on cutting attachments
• Inspect equipment for defects and ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Use diagnostic software like Mtronic and Autotune to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies needed for repairs
• Explain repair procedures clearly to customers and document work performed

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Understanding of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine operations
• Positive, self-starter attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 70 lbs
• Good hearing and sight to analyze equipment and ensure safety
