Job Summary and Purpose
The Preventive Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance on heating air conditioning food service refrigeration and ventilation equipment throughout the school system. This individual is also responsible for making recommendations to the Coordinator of Physical Plants.
Work Objectives/Essential Functions
Education and Experience
Education Attainment (Required):
High School diploma or equivalent. Or any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
Education Attainment (Preferred):
Technical Training or coursework in HVAC systems refrigeration electrical systems or a related building operations field preferred.
Manufacturers training courses in HVAC systems food service equipment or refrigeration preferred.
