Job Description
We are seeking a versatile, high-energy operations assistant to join a premier equipment rental team in Crawfordville, FL. This is the perfect role for a "jack-of-all-trades" who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will play a vital role in daily operations, moving between customer service, logistics, and maintenance support. If you are a proactive problem-solver who likes to stay active and help out wherever needed, we want to hear from you.
salary: $14.5 - $15 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Equipment Logistics: Assist customers with the safe loading and unloading of rental equipment, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
- Shop Support: Provide an extra set of hands for the lead mechanic, assisting with non-technical tasks such as staging equipment, cleaning parts, and organizing the shop.
- Customer Interaction: Greet local contractors and DIYers, providing basic information on equipment use and ensuring a positive rental experience.
- Fleet Readiness: Clean and prep equipment upon return, ensuring it is fueled, organized, and ready for the next customer.
- Yard Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe workspace by organizing the rental yard and ensuring tools and machinery are stored correctly.
The essential functions of this role include:
