We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Niceville, FL. This position offers the chance to provide high-quality, acute care in a busy and well-equipped emergency department while working alongside a collaborative medical team.
This role involves flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts, including day and night coverage. The facility has an annual Emergency Department volume of approximately 25,000 visits and features a fully equipped Emergency Department with modern facilities, including access to advanced imaging and diagnostic tools. Physicians will be supported by a robust team of emergency department physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff. Patient demographics include a mix of adult and pediatric cases presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions. The facility provides 24-hour physician coverage, and documentation is completed using EPIC as the EMR system.
Qualifications
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with significant Emergency Medicine experience.
Active Florida medical license.
Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
