  • Create and manage client files in Clio and Lawmatics
  • Draft estate planning documents under attorney supervision
  • Coordinate with internal and remote drafting support when needed
  • Prepare clients and materials for signing meetings
  • Assist with post-signing follow-up and file completion
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients throughout their matter

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage structured processes
  • Clear, confident, and professional communication with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple matters at different stages
  • Comfortable learning and working within systems such as Clio and Lawmatics
  • A collaborative, reliable team member who follows through

Education and experience can vary. A college degree or paralegal certificate is preferred but not required. Candidates with legal experience, client-facing experience, or strong professional maturity are encouraged to apply.

Benefits

  • Compensation for this role is based on experience, skill level, and overall fit.
  • Entry-level candidates with strong alignment in values and aptitude: $35,000
  • Candidates with foundational experience: $37,000 – $40,000
  • Experienced candidates or those with Lawmatics or WealthCounsel experience: up to $45,000

We offer a highly competitive benefits package for the Fredericksburg market, designed to support both your professional growth and overall well-being.

  • Opportunity for bonus or performance-based incentives
  • Health insurance with significant employer contribution (approximately 90% of employee overage)
  • Dental and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with employer contribution (approximately 4%)
  • Generous paid time off, including firm holidays and additional discretionary time off around the Christmas holiday
  • Additional benefits and details will be discussed during the interview process
