Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test analog and digital electrical circuits and systems
  • Architect and implement FPGA-based solutions
  • Conduct PCB schematic capture, layout, and fabrication
  • Integrate embedded microcontrollers and software for electrical systems
  • Develop test procedures and perform validation for electrical devices and subsystems
  • Troubleshoot circuit designs and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for fast-paced project execution
  • Document design specifications, test results, and system modifications

  • Analog and digital circuit design
  • PCB design and fabrication
  • FPGA architecture, programming, and debugging
  • Embedded microcontroller programming
  • Signal processing and mixed-signal design
  • RF sensors and communication systems
  • Electro-optics integration
  • Experimental and hardware control software Electronics design for:
  • Low power and battery-operated systems
  • Analog circuits & sensors
  • Digital circuits, digital interfaces, sensors
  • Embedded software development for microcontrollers
  • Experience with:
  • Electro-optics
  • RF sensors and communication protocols
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) schematic capture and layout tools
  • NVidia Jetson GPU products
  • Ability to architect, design, and program FPGA inputs and systems
  • FPGA debugging and prototyping

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s degree with 3+ years experience or BS with 5+ years experience working in small engineering/software teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with analog and digital circuit design
  • 3+ years of FPGA programming and debugging experience
  • 3+ years of PCB design and layout experience
  • 3+ years of embedded microcontroller programming
  • 3+ years’ experience with RF and microwave circuits
  • 3+ years’ experience with signal processing, ASICs, VLSI, and mixed-signal circuit design
  • 3+ years’ experience with experimental and hardware control software
