The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club is looking for an experienced, hospitality-forward, detail-oriented Bar Manager for it's flagship Brooklyn location.

This management role requires a candidate who brings genuine and thoughtful hospitality to everything they do. From nurturing our shuffleboard league and recruiting new teams, to running large corporate events, to hosting birthday parties on the weekends, this job demands an extrovert with common sense, deep interpersonal skills and strong emotional intelligence. The bar manager must be comfortable on the floor, behind the bar, resolving conflicts and leading the staff with joy and grace.

The Bar Manager is also responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar, from menu development and staff training to inventory management and vendor relationships. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Train, motivate, encourage and lead all crew members
• Engage with guests on the floor and drive sales through extraordinary hospitality
• Develop and update beer and cocktail and NA menus
• Maintain accurate recipes and costing
• Weekly inventory, ordering & cost analysis
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brands; negotiate pricing and partnerships

Hospitality-specific management experience required
