Customer Data Operations Specialist (Hybrid)

Pay: $19/hour
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule: Hybrid

Position Overview

System One is partnering with a client in Tulsa, Oklahoma to join their Customer Data Operations team. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and auditing customer account data within an enterprise system environment. The work directly impacts pricing accuracy, invoicing, product delivery, and overall customer experience.

This position requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret customer requests and translate them into accurate system updates. It is well-suited for someone who enjoys learning complex processes, taking ownership of their work, and collaborating closely with internal teams.

This is not a data entry role —it involves problem-solving, quality control, and understanding how upstream data decisions affect downstream business operations.

What You’ll Do

• Create, update, and maintain customer accounts within an enterprise system (SAP experience a plus, but not required)
• Review requests to ensure new accounts are set up correctly and do not duplicate existing records
• Maintain accurate customer account relationships and structures to support proper billing and reporting
• Process customer-specific pricing updates and changes
• Conduct post-entry audits to verify data accuracy and compliance with internal standards
• Research and resolve pricing discrepancies, including supporting credit or debit adjustments when necessary
• Identify and correct account structure issues that may cause downstream processing challenges
• Communicate directly with internal partners to clarify requests and resolve issues
• Serve as backup support for team partners as needed
• Follow established procedures while applying judgment when troubleshooting issues
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-audit and troubleshoot work
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset with a desire to understand processes end-to-end
• Comfortable interpreting written requests and asking clarifying questions when needed
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and managing productivity while working remotely
• Willingness to learn complex systems and processes (60–90 days of structured training provided)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (required)
• Prior experience with data management, systems administration, or operations support preferred
• SAP experience is helpful but not required

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience in data management, operations, administrative support, or similar roles preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude and adaptability in a changing environment
