Bulger Veterinary Hospital in Lawrence, MA is looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) ready to take the next step into leadership as an Assistant Clinical Supervisor in our Emergency & Critical Care department .

Compensation:

• $28 – $36/hr
• Overnight Differential: 11p – 6a: Base + $5/hr

Anticipated Schedule

• Four 9-10 hour shifts

What You’ll Own
You’ll partner directly with the Clinical Supervisor to drive the shift, support your team, and ensure exceptional patient care —all while staying hands-on in the cases that matter most.
You’re not sitting on the sidelines here.

This role is 90% clinical, 10% leadership —because the best leaders in emergency medicine lead from the floor.

What that looks like:

• Leading shift operations and ensuring the team is set up to win
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing technicians in real-time
• Jumping into critical cases—triage, anesthesia monitoring, procedures
• Partnering across departments to keep workflows tight and efficient
• Solving problems in the moment and setting the tone for the team
• Supporting hiring, onboarding, and performance conversations

The Medicine
You’ll be working in a true specialty + emergency environment with the tools and support to practice at a high level:

• Advanced imaging (CT, digital radiography, ultrasound)
• Endoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and specialty services
• Transfusion medicine, cardiology, neurology diagnostics, and more

What You Bring (Required)

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) – required
• 3+ years of Emergency Veterinary experience
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and elevate a team
• Confidence in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• A mindset focused on growth, accountability, and patient care excellence
