Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the Plant Manager and Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support across a wide range of functions, including Training, employee records management, onboarding, and general office tasks. This role is critical in helping ensure a smooth and efficient office operation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Process inbound shipments of raw materials
  • Prepare and distribute Job Routers for the production team.
  • Backup support for coordinating and processing outbound shipments
  • Assist with facilitating Employee training needs
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and communicating with new employees
  • Maintain and update employee files.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, training, and events.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as managing supplies, filing, data entry, checking mail, and document preparation.
  • Answer phones and greet guests
  • Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems (preferred).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Background in a Manufacturing or Distribution environment is a plus.
